This enamel house number is called model ear due to the two "ears" next to plate. The fixing holes are in the ears. The advantage of this model is that the screws are not in the sign itself. This house number model ear is a typical Dutch model dating back from the 30s of the 20th century. The size of the house number is 12x12 cm, however, this dimension is without the ears.
